W marcu tego roku Clarkson pobił się z jednym z producentów „Top Gear”, najpopularniejszego programu motoryzacyjnego na świecie. Ponieważ nie był to pierwszy kłopotliwy incydent z gwiazdorem, władze BBC zdecydowały się rozstać z Clarksonem.
Właściciel Simonstowe Hall poinformował, że tablica została mu podarowana przez anonimowego gościa.
- Uważamy, że właściwe jest umieszczenie jej na patio gdzie doszło do bójki – oświadczył na Facebooku.
Napis na tablicy głosi: „Tu spoczywa kariera w BBC Jeremy Clarksona, który awanturował się w tym miejscu 4 marca 2015. Reszta jest legendą”.
Clarkson, a także jego partnerzy z "Top Gear", Richard Hammond i James May, robią nowy program motoryzacyjny dla Amazon Prime.
