Kamikazes fly out of PZU insurance company

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) - Jaromir Netzel, CEO of PZU
insurance giant, has forced dismissals at the investment fund subsidiary.
Because of a trip to Japan, Cezary Burzynski, PZU TFI deputy CEO, heard "thank
you, sir" from Jaromir Netzel. He was not the only one to be fired. A "business"
trip was the reason.
21 insurance agents and three managers went to
Japan in May. The cost of the trip amounted to PLN 16,000 (EUR 4,192) per
person. Jaromir Netzel believed that while agents should be prized with such a
trip, the managers should not. He demanded the three people to pay back the
costs or quit. Two of them resigned.
