Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The Hindu company is opening a BPO center offering IT and accounting services. It will employ 500 specialists.

KPIT-Infosystems Central Europe, the Polish subsidiary of KPIT Cummins Infosystems, announced today that it had launched operations in Wroclaw. The company has already started recruiting and is looking for accountants with the knowledge of English and German.

“Till March 2007 we will employ over 100 people. In the upcoming years, the number will grow to 500 employees”, the member of KPIT Cummins board revealed.

This number will be reached in 20011. The Wroclaw center will offer BPO services and IT for companies. It is supposed to have at least 10-20 clients. The project, worth some dozen million dollars, has been subsidized from the state of Poland and the labor office.

“It is a very important project. It doesn’t happen that often that a company shifts operations from India to Poland. We have asked the Polish consulate in Bombay to issue 50 visas. Thanks to the projects from KPIT Cummins, Genpact and HP Wroclaw will have the biggest number of Hindu people in Poland”, Pawel Panczyj, the CEO of the Agency for Wroclaw Development commented.
