Lena lighting producer enters Africa

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) Lena, the listed lighting producer, is going to have PLN 87m (EUR 22.5m) of sales and PLN 12m of net income, according to its forecasts.

So it will be, Maciej Rychlewski, Lena CEO promised.

He added that next year¹s results will be even better. The forecast will be published in January. Better results will be possible thanks to higher exports. They will increase in Western Europe, but they will be launched in southern Europe, Middle East and Africa.

In February, we are going to take part in fairs in Dubai. The fairs are the doors to markets we are interested in, Piotr Gogolewski, deputy CEO for foreign sales in Lena explained.

In the beginning, Lena hopes to generate EUR 1m of sales in Africa and Middle East.

The company considers capital investments.

We are holding talks concerning acquisition of several companies. We may acquire 2-3 distributors next year. We want our production to be concentrated in Poland, Maciej Rychlewski said.Acquisitions will not require further shares issue. Lena has cash and no debts, which means that financing via credits is possible.
