Aleksander Grad, the minister of the treasury, hopes that Arabian capital will support the privatization of Polish companies. Because of problems of US and European financial sector, it’s hard to sell shares of companies, no matter how good they are. One of the examples is Enea energy group. That’s why two Polish delegations will visit the Middle East. They are planned in November.
“Arabic capital may help in privatization and selling shares on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. That’s why we want to present this offer very seriously and offer them to invest in important sectors. This is going to be very serious, and not symbolic, engagement”, Aleksander Grad said.
He takes along with him the heads of Poland’s biggest state-owned companies,
including Police, Pulawy, Ciech, Kedzierzyn, Tarnow, Tauron, PLL LOT.
