After “PB” has revealed that Edmund Borawski, the CEO of Poland’s biggest dairy producer Mlekpol wanted to merge with second largest Mlekovita, the head of the latter decided to have his say. Dariusz Sapinski believes such a merger would be possible only if it was Mlekovita who takes over.
“First of all interested parties would have to approve of the merger. The company should be named Mlekovita after the merger with headquarters in Wysokie Mazowieckie. The merger must be approved by anti-monopoly authorities”, Dariusz Sapinski, Mlekovita CEO enumerated.
He agreed that the merger would be the most spectacular in the history of Polish dairy market.
Some experts fear that it won’t be easy for both companies to merge because
their CEOs are too ambitious. Others say that the two men have already
cooperated while founding the Polish Milk Chamber.
