At the end of October and beginning of November, the updated strategy for PKN Orlen should be ready. The listed fuel giant will focus on the production of alternative fuels.
“We must be ready for changes which may lead to cheaper energy from alternative sources. We want to be ready to produce energy”, Jacek Krawiec, PKN Orlen deputy CEO said.
Electric energy is one of the possibilities.
“There are such examples in Europe. MOL wants to build two power plants with Czech CEZ”, he stressed.
PKN Orlen is not the only company planning to build its power plant.
Yesterday, “PB” revealed that KGHM copper producer considers building a nuclear
power plant worth EUR 10bn.
