Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Candidates for the post of PKO BP CEO have not been questioned about the new strategy of the bank. They will learn about it when it is already approved of.

On Friday, the supervisory board of PKO BP is meeting to decide about the bank’s strategy till the year 2012. The board will not try to choose the CEO for another time.

“We will deal with the strategy only. It is the most important issue for PKO BP development”, Marek Gluchowski, the chairman said.

The CEO has not been chosen so far because the board wanted to hear his/her suggestions concerning the new strategy. However, neither Maria Paslo-Wisniewska, nor Andrzej Klesyk, the two candidates for the post of the CEO, were consulted during the interviews. According to former plans, the CEO was supposed to be chosen before the GSM to be held on April 26th.
