Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Eureko, the Dutch insurer, and investor in PZU insurance company, sold 18.9 percent shares of the Polish Millennium Bank. A source close to the bank told news agency that it was Eureko who sold the stake. The shares were sold PLN 3.2 (EUR 0.79) a share, so the stake was worth over PLN 500 million. Last week, Eureko said it would lower its stake from 20.1 percent to 1.2 percent.
The transaction is part of the agreement between Eureko and Millennium Bank, which agreed to sell the Dutch company 10 percent of PZU for at least PLN 1.6 billion.
