Poland: Polmos Lublin employees will also sell their shares

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Polmos Lublin, Poland’s fifth vodka producer, who has a well known brand Zoladkowa Gorzka, may be listed on the Polish stock exchange GPW within several weeks. The company plans to issue new shares. The funds raised on the stock exchange will be spent on acquisitions. The company does not reveal how much money it wants to raise. Wieslaw Skrobowski, Polmos Lublin CEO said only that Grupa Jablonna, the owner of a 82.18 percent stake will still have majority after the issue.

But not only new shares will be listed. ‘Part of shares belongs to employees who have the possibility to sell them. On December 6th, a shareholders’ meeting will be held. Employees will decide to take the sell option’, Waldemar Wasiluk, Polmos deputy CEO admitted. The employees own 1.72 percent shares in their company.
