Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Jacek Socha, Poland’s Treasury Minister said that ‘there is a chance’ that the arbitrary procedure concerning PZU insurance company filed by Eureko, may be lost and it is ‘very probably’ that it will be lost partly. In his opinion, Eureko’s investments are well protected in Poland, and the annex at the privatisation agreement allowing Eureko to buy another 21 percent stake of PZU was just a pledge.
He said that conciliatory solution was still possible. The Treasury Ministry wants to have influence on operations run by PZU. He admitted that if the Polish government lost the case, the compensation might be ‘relatively high’.
