Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Jacek Socha, the Treasury Minister, confirmed that he had submitted to the government a proposal of a settlement negotiated with the Dutch Eureko. The company sued the Polish government accusing it of violating the agreement on investment protection. Eureko bought a stake in PZU, Poland’s former monopoly insurer and wanted to increase the stake. The Treasury Ministry refused to sell the shares claiming that it had not promised it to the investor. Jacek Socha refused to give details of the settlement.
