Police chemical producer needs investments

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Police, Poland’s fertiliser producer, has run out of its capacities and without investments it has no chances to increase sales, Andrzej Kurowski, its CEO said. He said that the company was preparing detailed investment plans. Funds will be raised in an IPO.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Police, Poland’s fertiliser producer, has run out of its capacities and without investments it has no chances to increase sales, Andrzej Kurowski, its CEO said. He said that the company was preparing detailed investment plans. Funds will be raised in an IPO. Wojciech Kolenda, a member of the board, believed that Police could earn PLN 200-250 m (EUR 49-61.2 m) in an IPO. More detailed estimates will be published at the end of March.

According to preliminary data, last year, Police had net income of over PLN 90 m. In 2003, it amounted to PLN 10.5 m.(PLN 1 = EUR 0.245)Poland/Enterprises/Chemicals/IPO
