Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) - According to the Poczta Polska management, as many as 20,000 employees would have to leave the company in order for the post not to be in the red. This is over 20 pct. of all people employed now.

Numbers are tough. The demand of the workers, threatening with strikes, to receive higher wages, will bring half a billion zloty of net loss by the end of the year. Andrzej Polakowski, Poczta Polska general director, tries to improve the situation, but he admits that there are too many employees in the company. The wage increases will simply fasten the restructuring process.
