Polsat TV broadcaster talks to investors

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Polsat, one of the three main TV broadcasting companies in Poland, has launched talks with big media groups concerning selling a minority stake of Polsat”, the company owned by Zygmunt Solorz-Zak said in a communiqué. It would be a stage preparing the company for listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

It would be a stage preparing the company for listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

 “We are talking to big media groups about selling them assets and joint program ventures. The talks are confidential”, Aleksander Myszka, Polsat CEO said.According to previous plans, about 20-25 percent of Polsat stock would be listed worth EUR 250m. TVN, the other TV company, is already listed in Warsaw. The third biggest player is TVP, the state-owned, former monopoly, television.
