In March 2008, listed Qumak-Sekom delivered computers for ZUS in a PLN 24m contract. However, in mid-September ZUS filed a suit against Qumak.
Comarch IT producer claimed the tender was illegal. The court agreed with Comarch that there was a mistake in the tender and decided to choose the winner again. It was too late, however. Qumak delivered the equipment. It believed, it was right.
"We are happy that we will start the new year without any burdens. In 2008, the gross income will be 13 percent higher than forecast before", Pawel Jagus, Qumak-Sekom CEO said.
Qumak has recently raised its net income forecast to PLN 13.7m.
