PZU board fight begins
The insurance watchdog PUNU, the treasury and the management of insurer PZU hope to gain control of life assurer PZU Zycie as soon as possible. In order to do this PUNU has called a shareholders meeting of the assurer for 28 April. Grzegorz Wieczerzak, MD of PZU Zycie, claims that the management of PZU will not be able to form a new board within the timescale.
The function of the meeting is of course to give Grzegorz Wieczerzak his marching orders.
