Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Wars, the company running restaurant carriages wants to end with the ban to sell alcohol. It won’t be easy.

Trade and consumption of alcohol in trains, as in all other means of public transport, is prohibited. The ban concerns only national routes but is levied on international ones. In Western Europe, it is possible to buy alcohol not only in trains but at railway stations as well. Wars representatives who have the support of the company’s management, want to change it. A year ago, they asked the Minister of Transport to change the law. Nothing has been done. Wars checks its chances in the Ministry of Health and lobbies MPs to levy the ban. It won’t be easy as a law would have to be changed.
