The WIG20 index remained above 1,800 points but the style the Warsaw Stock Exchange performed today was very poor.

The market was falling with banks among the worst performers. BRE Bank was losing even 7 percent during the day. Asseco IT company was also doing very badly because shareholders did not like the news it is selling its own shares at PLN 45. Fuel companies, including PKN Orlen and Grupa Lotos dropped despite the fact oil keeps growing.

The WIG20 index shed 0.57 today. BZ WBK and PKO BP banks as well as TP telecom reduced the decrease of the blue chips index.
