Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) - Swissmed, healthcare company, plans to increase sales next year by 180 percent and net income by 150 percent. Much depends on how successful the issue of 5m D series shares planned for November, is. Swissmed would like to earn PLN 14m (EUR 3.6m) in this transaction. This means, it will try to sell the shares at PLN 2.8 each, the same price as in the IPO conducted in September of 2004. Today, the shares are traded at PLN 3.

Today, the company will present price range. Analysts believe this will be key for the issue.

If the price range is set below its present price, the company will most probable place the issue. National institutions and individual investors will probably be interested in new shares, Rafal Salwa, independent analyst commented. One of the main targets of the issue is to buy private health centres in northern Poland for PLN 4.5m.

We are interested in acquiring local leaders. We hope to buy about 8-10 healthcare centres in northern Poland, Roman Walasinski, Swissmed CEO explained.
