Financial directors get the highest remuneration, the report by portal Money.pl based on the report of Advisory Group TEST Human Resources shows. They receive PLN 11,297 (EUR 3,468) of average gross wage. Marketing directors are paid PLN 10,299 on average while IT heads – PLN 10,212.
“The managers are doing much better than a statistical Pole. And so it should be because the knowledge and experience should be well paid”, Bartosz Chocholowski from Money.pl commented.
The best earning financial directors have PLN 7,300 of net income, while quality directors which are the last in the ranking of managers’ wages – PLN 5,100.
As compared to the year 2004, the biggest growth was noted in wages of sales directors (57 percent), traffic maintenance (35 percent) and IT (34 percent). Marketing managers’ wages have grown only 21 percent but still these specialists are the second best-paid managers.
The report proves that managers form Warsaw earn most, on average 50 percent more than their peers in other cities of Poland. The lowest discrepancies are to be seen in the sales managers’ wages. These managers earn only 25 percent more in Warsaw than in Poznan, Lodz or Zielona Gora.
