Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The indices on the Warsaw Stock Exchange did not change much today. On Thursday, an upward trend could start providing that the U.S. session ends up.
The WIG20 index fell 0.22 percent to 2,849.59 points while shares worth PLN 970m changed hands. The 20-share blue chips index was close to zero percentage change during the day but at 4 p.m. dropped below 2,840 points. Just before the closing bell it rebounded thanks to Netia telecom, PKN Orlen fuel giant and PKO BP bank. The positive trend was caused by rising indices in the Wall Street.
Thursday may end with increases in Warsaw if today’s session in the USA ends up.
