WIG20 adds 2.25 percent on Monday

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – All indices rose on the Warsaw Stock Exchange on Monday. 70 companies ended up and 30 ended down or remained unchanged.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – All indices rose on the Warsaw Stock Exchange on Monday. 70 companies ended up and 30 ended down or remained unchanged.

WIG added 2.31 percent, WIG20 2.25 percent while shares worth PLN 1.5 billion changed hands. MIDWIG rose 2.59 percent and WIRR 2.23 percent.

TP telecom rebounded after several months of consolidation. The stock jumped over 4 percent. PGNiG gas monopoly and TVN media group added thanks to positive recommendations. Agora media group and GTC develop rose over 5 percent each. PKN Orlen fuel giant and Pekao bank added nearly 3 percent each.

Among small and medium-sized companies, Mostostal Export construction company rose 30 percent on the news it is planning joint projects with listed Gant. Atlantis which said it planned an issue jumped 50 percent.
