WIG20 is the only Warsaw Stock Exchange index to grow

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The WIG20 index ended at 3,824.35 points, or 0.32 percent up. WIG fell 0.48 percent to 65,899.30 points. Shares worth PLN 2.5 billion changed hands.

The increase of the 20 share blue chips index was maliny due to banks, including Bank BPH and PKO BP as well as KGHM copper producer and Cersanit, the producer of bathroom fittings. Generally, more companies ended down then up. Analysts expect that this week will be poor for the Polish stock market. Later on, some companies will grow on expectations of second quarter results.
