WIG20 sheds 0.18 percent

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Shares worth only PLN 370 m (EUR 91.8 m) changed hands on Monday. The Polish bourse GPW has not noted such low level for a very long time. WIG20 index lost 0.18 percent to 1,960.81 points. The session was boring at times.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Shares worth only PLN 370 m (EUR 91.8 m) changed hands on Monday. The Polish bourse GPW has not noted such low level for a very long time. WIG20 index lost 0.18 percent to 1,960.81 points. The session was boring at times.

PKN Orlen fuel giant was doing very well, contrary to the market. The company managed to improve its all-time records. TPSA telecom and BPH bank were traded higher during the day but before the bourse closed they returned to morning levels. Results of PKO BP bank and Agora media group were received without emotions. PKO BP presented results in accordance with estimates. Agora had very good results but the market had reacted to that before. Prokom IT company lost over 3 percent.

Among smaller and medium-sized companies, Fortis Bank, Energoaparatura, Projprzem, Cersanit, Centrostal Gdansk, SM-Media, and Simple managed to grow, while Permedia, Rafako, Bauma, Plast-Box, Alchemia, Kable, Relpol, Ster-Projekt, Elektromontaz Warszawa and Ekodrob fell.
