Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Wojas, shoe producer from Nowy Targ, southern Poland, wants to launch 30 new shops within two years. Today, the company has 50 outlets. Wojas is going to sell its products in Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. “Poland’s EU accession made its easier for us to expand. But cheap shoes imported from China are big threat to us. EU authorities should do everything to provide protection barriers for their own producers”, Piotr Kolodziej from the marketing department in Wojas said.
Wojas employs 700 workers and produces 700,000 pairs of shoes a year.Poland/Enterprises/Clothes
