Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – As ‘Puls Biznesu’ has already said before, Avon, the cosmetic company offering its products in direct sales system, is launching a financial centre in Warsaw. It will conduct multitransactional financial processes for Avon’s units in the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, UK, Lithuania and Hungary. 90 people will work in the centre in the first stage. Today, there are 5 employees already. The management of the centre consists of three representatives of world structures of Avon and three Poles.
Avon refused to give the value of the investment. According to Sebastian Mikosz, the deputy CEO of the Polish investment agency PAIIZ, the project may be worth up to EUR 450,000. The financial centre is Avon’s third company in Poland, next to Avon Cosmetics Polska (sales and marketing) and Avon Operations Polska (plant).
