Bourse retreats further
The Warsaw stock market pulled even further back on Friday. Turnover increased but at PLN182.3m it remained low. The WIG20 index closed at 1,271.2 points, down 0.5 percent on the day and now within one percent of the two year low it reached last month. Indeed all the gains made at the beginning of last week and the end of the week before have almost entirely been wiped out. The WIG index closed at 13,945.4, down 0.4 percent.
Forty seven companies went up in value on Friday whilst 55 went down.
