Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – BRE Bank is expanding to the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Next week, BRE Bank is going to submit an application in the banking supervision authorities to be allowed to launch operations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

“We want to offer the services of mBank, our internet unit. In the second quarter, we will offer full deposit and credit offer”, Slawomir Lachowski, BRE Bank CEO said.

He added that the company would offer accounts free of charge, which is not a common practice in these countries. In his opinion, the project will not be very expensive because Polish IT structure will be used.
