Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Correct, a company related to Com.40 furniture producer, will build a mattress plant and a logistic centre in Lodz special economic zone.
The company will invest EUR 40m.
“The company will produce mattresses, while Com.40 will cease this activity and focus on furniture and its retail network. Correct will also offer logistic services for Com.40, firms related with it and other companies”, Jakub Rudowicz, the legal representative of Com.40 responsible for the project said.
Both businesses will bring sales of PLN 350m (EUR 90.9m) annually. Correct will employ 300 people. 90 percent of Correct output will be exported.
“We will deliver to a world giant in home and housewares branch”, Jakub Rudowicz said.
It may be IKEA. Com.40 is IKEA’s partner.
Com.40 was founded in 2002 and employs 1,300 people. It has capacity of 700 units of furniture a day. 95 percent of the production is exported to Holland, Belgium, Germany, the UK and IKEA shops. The company has 17 shops in Poland. Last year, it had sales of PLN 300m.
