Several days ago, Eurotel said it would conclude acquisition of a network distributing telecommunication services. It did not say what company was mentioned. According to “PB” unofficial sources, it is PPI ETC Poland. The company with headquarters in Warsaw distributes office equipment mainly but it also has a network of shops which are partners to Era mobile operator. It has big shops in Warsaw, Bielsko-Biala and Kielce, the majority of them in mazowieckie and lubelskie regions. This perfectly suits Eurotel’s position which is mainly present in the west and north of Poland.
Jerzy Berezowski, PPI ETC CEO and owner, asked to be called within two weeks at first. Then, he said he would not comment news on selling the network. Eurotel’s representative also refuses to comment.
“I cannot comment. We have been running talks on acquisitions with several companies and the contract has not been signed yet”, Tomasz Basinski, Eurotel deputy CEO said.
The listed company has 135 shops today and wants to increase the network by
30-40 percent.
