Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Unless Energa and the Agency for Industrial Development buy Stocznia Gdanska shipyard, its employees are ready do to that. 80 companies have been invited to submit their offers to buy  Stocznia Gdynia.

Tomorrow is the deadline to submit offers to buy Stocznia Gdanska shipyard owned by Stocznia Gdynia. The company can be sold to Norwegian Aker or by the consortium of state-owned enterprises including the Agency for Industrial Development (ARP) and Energa power distributor. The trouble with the latter solution is that the European Commission may decide it is public subsidy.

“We are negotiating with EC’s representatives. A quick split of the two shipyards will help restructure Stocznia Gdanska and find an investor”, Pawel Poncyljusz, the deputy Minister of Economy said.

Roman Karkosik is interested in Stocznia Gdanska, he could join the consortium of ARP and Energa, which would calm down EC’s worries.

Yesterday, 80 companies were sent invitations to submit their letters of intent to buy Stocznia Gdynia.
