Adam Szejnfeld, deputy minister of economy, talked yesterday in the Parliament about measures provided to help automotive companies. He mainly talked about state guarantees for orders for car companies to improve their cash flow.
“We are considering other solutions as well. We might make it easier to get access to funds of the EIB where EUR 40bn may be received. We consider to make it easier to get investment credits guaranteed by the government or a government agency. Leasing for consumers would be a good idea”, Adam Szejnfeld enumerated.
He added that changes in the labor law would be a good solution.
“Today, the law allows only to lay off. Unless and employer does it, he and his company will have troubles. We want the labor law to be more flexible so that you don’t have to fire people but you may reduce their wage temporarily”, deputy minister added.
He avoided to say when the ministry of economy will present its solutions.
According to unofficial sources, the plan is ready but it needs final approval
from Waldemar Pawlak, the minister of economy and Prime Minister.
