Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Herbapol Lublin, Poland’s largest fruit syrup and herbal tees producer, controlled by Jerzy Starak, has ambitious plans for this year.
‘We assume that sales will be close to PLN 200 m (EUR 49 m)’, Rober Neymann, deputy CEO in Herbapol Lublin said. In 2004, the company had sales of PLN 160 m, or 12 percent more than in 2003. Net income grew 60 percent to PLN 8 m.
This year, sales should be increased thanks to new products, big advertising campaigns, and exports. Last year, exports grew 60 percent and amounted to 10 percent of sales. ‘We have big chances to get contracts in large European retailers under their brands’, Robert Neymann explained. He did not want to reveal the names of the retailers. He just mentioned that sales could grow over the PLN 200 m planned today.
