Insurers have PLN 1.4 billion of net income in QI

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – In the first quarter of 2005, the net income of insurance companies, grew 70.7 percent to PLN 1.4 billion (EUR 347.2m). PLN 1.14 billion was generated by PZU group. In life insurance companies, the net income jumped 104 percent and amounted to PLN 823m. Gross premium amounted to PLN 7.8 billion, or 9.4 percent more than in the same period of 2004.
