Investment market slow to come

In real estate reports written back in 1999 it was said that the investment market was beginning to develop. In 1998 an office building in Wiśniowy Business Park near Warsaw's Okęcie airport was bought by Commercial Union with a believed capitalisation rate of 13 percent. Analysts thought that the market was opening up not only for foreign capital but also that coming from Poland. However it was a case of jumping the gun, since then very few deals have been done. As noted in the latest report by international estate agents DTZ only six such deals have taken place and most of them were last year.
