ZUK Know How from Szczecin, a company offering consulting services to hospitals, is going to consolidate and launch a new brand. In 2006, the company had PLN 56m (EUR 14.7m) of sales and PLN 4m of net income. Today, it has three health centers, five hospitals it owns and one hospital it has been running for six years on outsourcing basis but this year will join the group. This year, the group has grown by three outlets. In summer, Know How leased for 15 years two hospitals, in Naklo and Szubin. It is also taking part in a tender to run hospital in Swiebodzin.
Know How acquires hospitals and ‘cures’ them with its own funds. Adam Roslewski, Know How CEO, admits however that the company will soon need fresh capital.
“We have asked an advisor to choose the best financial investment. We don’t want to state now whether it’s going to be a stock exchange, investor or investment fund”, Adam Roslewski said.
Before, Know How wants to simplify the structure of its group. The network of hospitals will have a common logo and brand: Nowy Szpital (New Hospital). The consolidation should be concluded in several months’ time.
