Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – LOT, Polish flag carrier, has decided to postpone its decision to choose the deliverer of its new fleet. Airbus and Boeing competed to deliver long-haul aircraft. ‘It is not that urgent to deal with that right now. We want the new planes to start flying in 2006. The time of order realisation amounts to 18 months, so we have some time’, Marek Grabarek, LOT CEO said.

Both companies, which submitted their offers, warned many times that when order is postponed, the delivery may be shifted, too. According to the first promises, LOT was going to make decision last year. Polish airline wants to buy 6-8 aircraft.Poland/Enterprises/Aviation
