Bogusław Grabowski, a member of the central bank's monetary policy council, says in an article in today’s Puls Biznesu that the task of the organisation is no longer to fight inflation but rather to stabilise it at a low level.
However he admits that if the government does nothing to reform public finance then keeping inflation down at its present level makes no sense.
