Before the markets opened yesterday losses were predicted for the day with profit taking accounting for cut and run behaviour. It did not happen that way and the stock market continued its march forwards with the WIG20 noting a 1.9 percent advance to 1,206 points and the WIG up 1.4 percent to 13,365 points.
Turnover on the day was PLN204m with 64 stocks increasing in value and 36 decreasing.
The biggest winner on the day was Wrocław based IT distributor STGroup which advanced by nearly seventy percent. The biggest loser was once again Netia which lost twelve percent. Investors clearly did not think too much of international rating agency Fitch reducing the telecommunications company's credit rating once again.
