On the wrong track
An announcement by the treasury that it wants to sell the largest rail waggon producer in this country, Ostrów Wielkopolska based Fabryka Wagon, could harm the chances of the company finding a financial backer in the future. Last year the company made a profit of PLN1m, following a 1999 loss of PLN12m. The forecast for this year is good but Zbigniew Maciejewski, MD of Fabryka Wagon is worried about the shares falling into what he sees as the wrong hands.
