One-2-One to win the Czech market

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – One-2-One wants to fight for the Czech market via ATS, the company is has acquired. It is going to apply its Polish business model in the Czech Republic.

 

ATS, a company acquired by One-2-One this year, is Czech biggest mobile content provider with over half of the market. However, its position in mobile marketing is weaker.

“That’s why we want to shift our Polish know-how to the Czech Republic in order to offer ATS clients additional services”, Mariusz Malec, One-2-One CEO said.

Initially, Mobijoy company will be divided from ATS in the first quarter of next year. In the One-2-One group, Comtica (focusing on solutions common for TV and mobile technologies), Streemo (social portal), and Mobitrust (mobile electronic signature) are already operating. Their peers may be founded in the Czech Republic as well.

 

One-2-One plans further acquisitions.

“We eye several companies we have already led talks with. The negotiations were suspended during the acquisition. We will re-start them in the second half of next year”, Mariusz Malec said.

He added that his company is mainly interested in firms operating “south of Poland”. One-2-One is considering entering the Ukrainian market, albeit in a longer perspective.
