Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Pekao promises to increase its result this year.
Its net income should exceed the PLN 1,573.71m (EUR 399.7m) generated in 2005. In the first quarter of the year, the bank had PLN 418.86m of consolidated net income against PLN 331.46m a year earlier.
“We believe that in the upcoming quarters the sales of retail credits will help us continue the upward trend”, Luigi Lovaglio, Pekao deputy CEO said.
