Pension funds find safer place to invest
Polish pension funds are beginning to invest abroad. The Nationale-Nederlanden fund in September for the second time placed money in other countries as part of its diversification programme. Similar moves are expected from the Commercial Union and Złota Jesień funds.
The funds have been able to place money abroad since March 2000 although this option was not used due to the high costs involved.
