PKP slow to sell
Krzysztof Celiński, MD of state owned rail carrier PKP, has said that the earliest possible date for the privatisation of railway subsidiaries is in 2004.
Some of these subsidiaries will soon start trading in their own right with PKP Intercity, the comparatively fast link between major urban agglomerations being the first, kicking off next month.
The PKP boss also foresees the possibility of a privatisation through the stock market for some of these companies.
