(Puls Biznesu) – Alima Gerber, the nursery food producer from Rzeszow, a subsidiary of Novartis, has signed an agreement with Hero from Switzerland to produce infant food in twist-off glasses. Hero will buy around 20 products in the Polish company.
‘It is going to be 5 to 7 million items a year’, Pawel Milkowski, Alima director estimated. Hero is going to sell the products under its own brand in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The deliveries for Hero will constitute 10 percent of Alima production. The Polish company had sales of PLN 100 million (EUR 23.5 million) last year. For the last three years, the company has had net loss of around PLN 11 million.
