Poland: Blue chips rebound after two days of falls

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – On Wednesday, the rebound started on Tuesday afternoon was continued on the Polish stock exchange GPW. The WIG20 index grew by 0.6 percent to 1823.77 points.

A bigger improvement, however, will have to happen with the shares of PKO BP. The company grew at the end of the session. Tomorrow the stock of the bank will be included in the WIG index. The volume of trade, however, exceeded PLN 1 billion (EUR 235 million) for the fifth consecutive day. In five companies, it exceeded PLN 100 million. Orbis hotel operator continued growths for the second day. Smaller companies were overshadowed by blue chips. The MIDWIG index shed

0.1 percent.
