Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Dr Irena Eris cosmetics producer had PLN 6.6 million (EUR 1.6 million) of net income after nine months of this year. In the same period of 2003, the income amounted to PLN 2.1 million. Sales grew to nearly PLN 77 million from PLN 66 million last year. Exports increased to PLN 4.5 million from PLN 2.6 million after the company entered the Czech, Slovakian and Hungarian markets.
In September, Dr Irena Eris started selling its products to the UK. ‘We started cooperation with British largest retailer Boots’, Dariusz Chmielecki, the head of company’s exports department explained. The sales in the UK amounted to PLN 0.5 million.
