Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The subsidiary of Hortex producing frozen food is going to be sold within several weeks. The possible investors include Bonduelle, Globus, Frosta and Ardo. The Russian newspaper ‘Viedomosti’ said that also ZAO APK Agros is interested in the Polish company. According to the paper, the transaction will be worth USD 60 million (EUR 44.6 million).
Two Hortex plants will be sold to an investor who will be able to produce frozen food under the well known brand. Last year, Hortex food constituted over 46 percent of all frozen fruit and vegetables imported to Russia.
