Warsaw (Puls Biznsu) – The New Year’s Eve session, which ended early afternoon, brought small changes of the indices. WIG20 added 0.19 percent and ended the day, month, quarter and year at 1960.57. WIG improved its all time record by 0.22 percent and grew to 26,636.19 points. Shares worth PLN 230 million (EUR 56.3 million) changed hands, 280 percent better than last week, at Christmas Eve.

In the first days of 2005, small decrease on the stock exchange may be expected. Then, however, bullish moods may prevail and WIG20 may achieve the 2000 point level – but only with a little help from the West.
